We’ve just enjoyed the best moment since we arrived in England 4 days ago. The restaurant is fantastic and Pam has treated us like if we were at home. Fantastic food, fantastic service. Even the music has been excellent. Thanks for having us!

Absolutely delicious! The fish was crispy on the outside and firm and juicy inside – perfectly cooked. The chips were great, and the cold beer made everything better. Friendly owner and cozy vibe. 5 stars, no doubt!

We had a lovely time in Brighton yesterday and stumbled across this delicious fish and chip store. It came up as one of the best places to eat and it didn’t disappoint. It was one of the best fish I’ve ever had. The batter was absolutely delicious and they were decent serves. We will definitely be returning.

Delicious and crispy batter (just look at that gorgeous golden sheen) wrapped around a juicy fillet. Gone within seconds. Chips were alright, had the right crunch to it but it tasted a tad bland. Nothing a little ketchup can't fix. Portions were generous without being excessive. Atmosphere was smashing - right by the sea and the waves - perfect for long conversations or people-watching.

We had a group of 50 students from a summer school and we wanted to give them the full English riviera experience. We asked whether they’d be able to accommodate us without a reservation and they did so very easily. The staff was very welcoming, warm, friendly and extremely patient. The food, besides being very fresh and delicious, was very quick in the preparation. Huge portion too and good prices. We cannot recommend them enough and we would like to thank them for the fantastic experience!

Had delicious fish and chips with an ice cold orange Fanta—hit the spot perfectly. Sat out on the patio right by the water, which made the meal even better. Service was friendly and relaxed. Great spot for a casual bite with a view!

I wasn’t sure what to expect but this place turned out to be an excellent choice. The fish was clearly high quality (moist, flaky, and full of flavour) wrapped in a crisp, golden batter that actually had taste. The portion size was fairly generous without being excessive. The chips were decent (not the highlight) but they did the job. What also stood out was the service: the staff were kind, attentive, and impressively efficient. A great spot by the seafront I’d definitely come back to.

I’ve been twice now. Great location right on the seafront, perfect for a relaxed bite by the sea. The staff are super friendly and laid-back, which makes the whole experience even better. The setup is simple – order at the counter and choose whether to take away or dine in, either inside or out. Portion sizes are generous and everything’s cooked fresh to order – I’ve never waited more than 15 minutes. The cod is thick, flaky, and perfectly cooked. Chips are just right, and the curry sauce and mushy peas are top-notch – everything complements each other beautifully. Massive thanks to Pam and the team – always a pleasure! I’ll definitely be back.
